Brenda Wolner, Registered Dental Hygienist
Brenda joined our team in 2015, and she has nearly a decade of dental experience. She is a Minnesota native and moved to Missouri in 2012. She loves working with patients one on one to achieve their optimal oral health. She also enjoys connecting with each patient fostering long term patient relationships. She studied at St. Cloud Technical Community College, where she earned her dental hygiene degree. Brenda is certified in CPR and Nitrous Oxide. She and her husband John have a son named Levi. She enjoys travel, gardening, completing do it yourself projects, and spending time with her family.
Holly Van Gent, Registered Dental Hygienist & Clinical Supervisor
For nearly three decades, Holly has offered outstanding dental services for dentistry patients. She has been with GID since 2013. She always takes the time to get to know patients and helps them improve their smile health. She studied dental hygiene at State Fair Community College, and she has advanced training in CPR, basic life support, local anesthesia, and nitrous oxide administration and monitoring. She also has her expanded functions dental assisting certification.
Holly has been happily married for more than thirty years. She and her husband, David, have two adult sons named Jan-Michael and DJ, as well as two grandchildren who they love to spoil named Lainey and Griffin. Holly moved around a lot as a military dependent, but she considers Cincinnati, OH her hometown. She enjoys painting, doing arts and crafts, and loving on her dogs in her free time.
Paula Corbitt, Scheduling Coordinator
More than two decades into her dental career, Paula still loves working with patients to help them achieve their healthiest smiles. She joined our team in 2012. She studied dental assisting at Modesto Junior College and has certification in nitrous oxide administration and monitoring and CPR. A native of Ceres, CA, Paula is the proud mother of one son and one daughter, and she enjoys fishing, camping, and attending her kids’ sporting events.
Jen Nolte, Financial Coordinator
With more than a decade of dental experience, Jen joined the team at GID in 2013. With her knowledge and experience with insurance, billing, and treatment financing she can help our patients find ways to maximize their dental benefits. She is passionate about making every patient in our office feel completely comfortable while they achieve their oral health care goals.
She has training in insurance billing, and coding, and is also CPR, and nitrous oxide certified. In addition, she also regularly assists the doctor with infant frenectomies.
A native of Sacramento, CA, Jen is happily married to Jimmie, and they have two daughters, Peyton and Paisley. She enjoys boating, camping, fishing, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and watching her kids play sports.
Amy Beilstein, Dental Assistant
Amy joined our team in 2016, and she has worked in the dental field for several years now. She loves working closely with our patients and strives to provide them with superior assistance. To provide the best and most convenient care for patients, Amy is CPR certified and nitrous oxide certified. Originally from Quincy, IL, Amy has one son who lives in North Carolina and one fur baby. She enjoys crafting, scrapbooking, and being outdoors.
Ashton Rhine, Dental Assistant
Ashton is a new member of our team, having received her education at Williams Wood University. She loves working with patients! Originally from Columbia, She has two fur babies named Dixie and Hendrix. Outside of the office, she is an avid horse rider and loves traveling. In fact, she’s competed in the National level in Barrel Racing before.
Michelle Simmons, CDA, EFDA
Since 2012, Michelle has enjoyed working with dental patients and establishing trusting and caring relationships with them. Michelle started as one of our patients and enjoyed visiting our office so much that she decided to work in the dental field! She has completed her expanded functions and passed her dental boards to be a Certified Dental Assistant. She is CPR and nitrous oxide certified as well, and she has a lot of experience assisting with infant frenectomies. Boonville is Michelle’s hometown, and she is happily married to Brad and they have two sons, Hunter & Klayton. She enjoys cooking and making memories with friends and family.
