Dental Sealants
This treatment is ideal for children who are still learning to brush and adults who are prone to tooth decay. It involves placing a thin layer of composite resin over the teeth to protect them from food particles and plaque. Most often, it is applied to the back teeth because these are the ones that are most often missed while brushing (especially by children). Be sure to ask about dental sealants at your child’s next appointment – they only take a few minutes to apply!
